Ryan and Rachelle

July 13th, 2011

Dear Special Woman,

We do not know each other and come to this letter with different perspectives and for different reasons. We cannot begin to know what you might be experiencing. Whether you decide that we are the right couple to parent your precious birth child or not, know that we care about you and pray for you as you make this enormous decision.

We are Ryan, Rachelle, and Judah. We have lived in a small town in Indiana our entire 13 years of marriage. Our son, Judah, came to us through adoption in 2007. As a couple, we have a special friendship as well as deep love and respect for each another. Together, we make a great team.

We both studied education in college, where we met. We married in 1998 and got teaching jobs in the fall of 1999. Rachelle taught third grade for the first three years of our marriage while Ryan taught physical education/health and pursued a master's degree. Currently, Ryan is an administrator at a middle school in a nearby town. Rachelle is a busy stay-at-home mom.

Ryan feels Rachelle completes him. Rachelle is caring, compassionate, and loving. He is so glad he married his best friend and loves spending time with her and with Judah.

Rachelle feels Ryan is such a good balance for her and appreciates his level head and calm spirit. She is thankful he is a very involved daddy who helps her out in every area of their lives.

We live in a wonderful friendly town that has many parks, lakes, and quiet neighborhoods. We have a large yard with many pretty flower beds and lots of green grass. As a family, we really enjoy biking and hiking and spending as much time as we can outside.

We are so happy to be parents, but feel God has again placed a longing in our hearts to add to our family. We can't wait to welcome another child into our hearts and home! Judah will be such a great big brother. He is very loving and happy. He is excited when we tell him about his little brother or sister coming. We are all very excited about what the future holds as we dream and anticipate holding a loving a most-precious gift from God.

Thank you for reading this letter, for your courage, and for considering us in your most important decision. We wish you confidence and peace. You are a special woman.
